  14. This program is licensed as shareware.  Use it for up to 6 games for
  15. free.  If you like it then use the online order form
  16. (help)(order form) from within the program to order or call
  17. us at 1-800 60 STATS and we can unlock the version you are
  18. using with a password if you pay by credit card.  We will
  19. also send you the latest release and manuals.

  21. Installing TurboStats:
  22.  
  23. After unzipping run the program SETUP.EXE.  This will automatically
  24. install TurboStats to the directory of you choice and create
  25. an icon in the program manager.  
  26.  
  27. After installing you can copy the files in the setup directory
  28. to a floppy disk to create an install disk for your friends to try or
  29. just delete them.
  30.  
  31. Fantasy League Use:
  32.  
  33. Create your teams and in the game form enter a game for each
  34. week of play.  Enter the total Weekly stats for all players on
  35. your team.  Do not enter the Total stats
  36.  
  37. Installation Problems:
  38.  
  39. Due to the vast differences between computer configurations
  40. you may have a problem with the installation program.  TurboStats
  41. for Windows uses various DLL and VBX files you may already have
  42. on your computer.  Many anti-virus programs will not allow our
  43. setup program to upgrade these files if they are older than the
  44. versions on the install disk.  You cannot overwrite any of these 
  45. files if they are in use by another program.  If you do have
  46. installation problems please try the following options in the 
  47. order listed:

  49. 1. Exit out of Windows and reboot your computer.  Try install before
  50. you run another Windows application
  51.  
  52. 2. If the install program complains about a file, rename that file
  53. in the system directory.  Example rename threed.vbx to threed.old
  54. and run the install program again.  If you get a message while
  55. running the program after you install. Do the same thing and rerun
  56. the install program after you are finished renaming the file.
